Being in this sector since 1984, we have been the initiator of many "firsts" in Türkiye. The presentation of the Turkish Packaging industry as a whole, on sectoral basis, was first realised by our group. We have also gathered the representatives of 40 firms around a table, which resulted in the compiling of a detailed research on sectoral basis. We were also the organisers of the first Packaging Fair in Türkiye. Later on, we've gathered the experts from the sector and initiated our publishing activities, which is still going on. Our group is the proprietor of the Ambalaj Dünyası (Packaging World) and Pack Converting magazines ,for 16 and 6 years , respectively. We are both closely tracing the global and local developments in the packaging sector and also on the international platform. We also pay utmost importance to the institutionalisation of the packaging sector in Türkiye and have played an important role at the industrial organisation aim as a result of which have paved the way for the establishment of ASD (Turkish Packaging Producers Association). At present, Miken is going to make use of its accumulation of knowledge in the packaging sector by undertaking new activities as well as publishing and consulting activities under the roof of Pack Club.
